The Campaign, Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell, movies, national Constitution Center, comedyNext Tuesday, August 7, comedy superstars Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis will head to the National Constitution Center to promote their new politically-themed movie, The Campaign.

At 11 am, the funny men will be seen signing an actual copy of the Constitution, as of yet it is unclear whether they will appear as themselves, or the characters they play in the new film.

Penned by Eastbound and Down writer Shawn Harwell and Chris Henchy, The Campaign follows two rival politicians (Ferrell and Galifianakis) battle it out to represent their small North Carolina congressional district in the United States House of Representatives, and is directed by Jay Roach.

Although only four pages long, the US Constitution remains among the most influential documents in the history of the world, and the 160,000-square-foot National Constitution Center aims to explain it. Perhaps signing a copy of the document in Signers’ Hall, amongst the life-size figures of the Constitution’s signers and dissenters, Ferrell and Galifianakis are sure to provide much amusement next Tuesday morning.
